As life embarked on its path, the darkness stealthily pursued his prey. Like a captive beast taunted and tempted with a massive piece of meat, he craved to satisfy his hunger. He laid restlessly, eager to unleash his vicious wrath. Like everyone in life, we all go through ups and downs. However, with depression, negative life events tend to have an even worse effect. Not surrendering as someone defeated, but surrendering in the sense that your power is limited; surrendering in acknowledgement that a Power greater than you exists, and submitting to that Power over your own will, and trusting the Power to lead you where you are destined go.
